2012 Stockman Bank Magic City Soccer Classic Information
The Magic City Soccer Club of Billings, Montana will be hosting the Magic City Soccer Classic, sponsored by Stockman Bank, at our soccer complex at Amend Park. The date of our annual tournament is May 5-6, 2012. We have some exciting plans for between-game activities. This year we are inviting U10-U12 recreational soccer teams, as well as U11-U18 competitive soccer teams.
Types of Teams:
U10-U12 recreational
U11-U18 competitive or club
Teams must not be all-stars from competitive teams.
Divisions: Competitive U10-U18, boys and girls (subject to change to accommodate the teams that are registered)
Eligibility: Some groups (i.e. U17 and U18) may be combined based on competitive record and schedule:
U18—August 1, 1993 to July 31, 1994
U17—August 1, 1994 to July 31, 1995
U16—August 1, 1995 to July 31, 1996
U15—August 1, 1996 to July 31, 1997
U14—August 1, 1997 to July 31, 1998
U13—August 1, 1998 to July 31, 1999
U12—August 1, 1999 to July 31, 2000
U11—August 1, 2000 to July 31, 2001
U10 -- August 1, 2001 to July 31, 2002
Entry Fee (registration and credit card payment online only):
Age / Registration Fee / Roster Size / Format:
U10, $350, maximum roster of 14 players, 6v6
U12, $425, maximum roster of 14 players, 8v8
U13 & Above, $525, maximum roster of 18 players, 11v11
Add $50 if application is submitted after April 5, 2012 deadline.
Identification: Teams from Region IV will be required to present player cards, medical releases, and travel roster at check-in. Teams outside of Region IV will also need travel papers. Non-USYSA affiliated teams must produce evidence of insurance coverage at registration.
Games: Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of three games.
Referees: Please plan to bring 2 referees for your team (register your referees at Gotsport.com). Referees will receive payment for their services.
Acceptance: You will be notified by e-mail of your team’s acceptance. Fees will be returned if your team is not accepted.
Awards: Participation awards for all recreational players will be given. In addition, 1st and 2nd place medals for players in each competitive division will be distributed.
Please complete the online registration at Gotsport.com, provide a team player roster, and pay the entry fee no later than April 5, 2012.

2012 Classic Volunteer Help
The Stockman Bank Magic City Classic is just around the corner and that means our committee chairs are needing volunteers. Most jobs are scheduled in 2-4 hour shifts. The following is a list of various tournament volunteer opportunities. ONLY SIGN UP WITH ONE GROUP TO AVOID GETTING DOUBLE BOOKED! Tournament Volunteer Coordinators will attempt to schedule around your child/children's games on Saturday. This is more difficult to do on Sunday as those game schedules are dependent on the outcome of Saturday games. In order to accommodate this, please include the following: Your name, home phone, cell phone, and child's team (example: U13 Boys Red, Coach Smith).
***** Team Field Volunteers are needed to help with Classic field prep and to put up nets on Friday, May 4th, at noon. *****
Field Marshals
If you signed up as your team Field Marshal, we need you during the Classic. Others are also welcome! Marshals take care of any problems which might arise during a game.
- Works with the center ref to take care of a problem parent, coach, or fan.
- Enforces ‘No Dog/Tobacco/Alcohol’ policy at Amend Park.
- Encourages parents and players to pick up litter.
- Takes care of lost and found articles.

Clean-Up
- Helps empty garbage cans around Amend Park throughout the weekend.
- Helps ‘tear down’ the tournament after the tournament is done on Sunday.

- Checks in referees and directing them to the correct field.
- Drives refs to their fields.

The Alberta Bair Theatre
The Alberta Bair Theatre, housed in the rejuvenated former Fox Theatre, hosts a wide variety of cultural events, including ballet, plays, opera, children's theatre, and symphonic and chorale productions. Moss Mansion
Step into history with a one-hour guided tour of the Moss Mansion Historic House Museum. The tour captures early turn-of-the-century life as the Preston Boyd Moss family lived it. Visitors see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets, and artifacts displayed in the 1903 red sandstone structure. The Moss Mansion was designed by the New York architect, Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, designer of the original Waldorf Astoria, Plaza Hotels, Williard Hotel, and Copely Hotel. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
