The following are needed to complete registration:
* MYSA Classic team final payment of $360 (total registration fee of $460 - $100). Clicking the link above confirms that you wish to play soccer with your assigned team. You will pay your final balance here with a credit/debit card. If you are requesting financial aid, you are responsible for half of the total registration fee less the $100 paid at try-outs; you will need to pay check or debit/credit card at our office.
* Player head shot. Upload a current color player HEAD SHOT into your player's profile at Gotsport.com. If a player does not have a picture uploaded, a player pass cannot be generated and a player will not be allowed to play soccer by the center ref.
Do the following when scheduled. Specific times and dates will be posted later on the club calendar located on the home page of magiccitysoccer.net:
* Financial aid. If you need financial aid, download an application from Financial Aid & Fundraising on this Website’s menu, fill out, and send in immediately to the office so that your request may be considered. Financial aid will be awarded dependant on availability.
* Uniform. We will be using a new uniform this season, to be purchased from Scheels Sports in January. The competitive uniform consists of two jerseys, matching shorts, and two pairs of socks, in a price to be determined. Jersey numbers will be assigned by the Magic office.
* Uniform. You will purchase your uniform from Universal Athletics at a date and time to be announced. The uniform will consist of 1 Red Jersey, 1 White Jersey, 1 White Short, and 1 pair of socks each in Red and White. The cost will be $70.00. Teams may vote to purchase an additional Red Short for $15.00 each. Jersey numbers are assigned by the Magic office.
* Parent meetings. Attend your player’s first team meeting (TBA by your coach) and the Annual General Meeting in January. Meet the other team parents. Coach compensation will be explained, outside tournament selected, team volunteer positions filled, and other team business conducted at your player’s first team meeting. Updates for the 2012 season will be presented at the Annual General Meeting.
* Volunteer check. Turn in a $100 volunteer hour check to the team hour tracker volunteer when requested in March. Only ONE check per family is required if there is more than one player in your family; your check will be turned into your oldest player’s team tracker volunteer.
* Competitive coach’s fee. This fee will be dependent on your coach’s license and number of people rostered on your team.
* Discount fundraising cards. Watch the club Website's News in December or January for availability of discount cards, if you wish to participate.
2012 League Season:
* Practice starts in March and league play begins April 28, 2012.
* Three tournaments: Magic City Classic, May 5 & 6, 2011; MYSA Showcase Jamboree, June 23-24, 2012, date and place TBA; and one outside tournament chosen by the team.
