AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND:
Individual or Group Training
Magic City Soccer's individual/group soccer training program will accelerate players learning with one of our highly trained staff. The purpose of this very specialized training program is to enable players to receive individual instruction in specific areas of the game which would be difficult to teach in a large team environment. Your personalized soccer experience will begin at a pace dictated by you. You can expect organized training sessions that are structured according to your strengths, weaknesses, and developmental needs. Each session will be tailor made to fit you, building confidence and improving you as a soccer player.

SPRING: Magic Competitive Travel League For Age Groups: U11-U18 boys & girls Dates: March – end of June Practices: 2-3 per week and are determined by coach Registration online only on the homepage : *U11-U14 must register August 1 – August 19 *U15-U18 must register September 1 – November 4 *$25 late registration fee after due date *Initial registration fee will NOT be refunded if player drops after tryouts or after being rostered to a team *Most, if not all, initial registration will be refunded if we can not roster you to a team Try-outs: *U11-U14 try outs, August 21, 22 and 23 *U15-U18 try out November 6; U15s will tryout with U16s and U17s will tryout with U18s to form the strongest teams League Play: 2 league games per Saturday in April and May at Amend Park, Bozeman, Helena, Great Falls, Missoula (possibly), and other smaller MT towns within 4 hours of Billings
Competitive, traveling players are evaluated by prospective Magic team coaches and local college players. They are rostered to form the strongest teams by the Magic Director of Coaching with input by prospective team coaches as follows: Premier Division Teams: U13 (not RQT, classified as 'Classic'), U14, U16, U18 boys & girls - Team Formation: 11v11 - Specific weekends in April and May assigned as ‘mandatory weekend play’ and seeding based on those play results - State Tournament: *U13 teams: MT Showcase in late June *U14, U16, and U18 teams: NCS Regional Qualifying Tournament in late May (Premier U14, U16, and U18 teams also attend Regionals in Boise, ID in mid-June if state cup winner) - Other Tournaments: Magic City Classic and one outside regional tournament (possibly to Boise, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Denver, San Diego, etc.) - Registration Cost: Click appropriate registration button on home page on Website

Micro Magic Rec-Plus League with Limited to No Travel For Age Groups: U8-U12 boys & girls Try-outs: None Team Formation: Equal teams playing 6v6 U8-U10, 8v8 U11-U12 Dates: April – May Practices: 2-3 per week and are determined by coach League Play: 2 league games on Saturday at Amend Park Tournaments: *Magic City Classic (fee included in registration) *Snicker's Cup, Sheridan, Wyoming (tournament registration fee and coach travel not included in registration) Registration Cost: $185 Registration online only on the homepage September 1 – November 30: *'First come, first serve’--families advised to register early, teams fill up quickly *$25 late registration fee after November 30 *Registration cost will NOT be refunded if player drops after being rostered to a team *All registration cost will be refunded if we can not roster you to a team
SUMMER (2012)
Magic Summer Camp For Age Groups: U6-U14 boys & girls Dates: Five mornings in July Location: Amend Park Emphasis: Technical training by area college players and Magic coaches; small-sided play; Friday includes fun soccer games and prizes Registration Cost: *$90 for U6-U8 *$125 for U9-U14 Note: Must be playing Magic competitive or Micro soccer in spring 2013. Registration can be downloaded at Camps & Ohter Soccer in June 3V3 Summer Soccer For Age Groups: U8 - U18 boys & girls (depending on interest) Team Divisions: - Boys U10, Girls U10 (ages U8 - U10) - Boys U12, Girls U12 (ages U11 - U12) - Boys U14, Girls U14 (ages U13 - U14) - Highschool Open Coed Team Formation Requirement: One parent contact (there is no team coaching or team practice outside of the league days) and six players (must be current MYSA or SAY members) Dates: Monday or Tuesday evenings in June and July Location: Amend Park Emphasis: FUN 3v3 soccer, 2 games per night, each game 24 minutes long Registration Cost: $150 Note: Must be playing Magic competitive or Micro soccer in spring 2013. Magic City Soccer Shooting Camp Magic City is excited to be offering a well needed camp that will focus on a players technical and mechanical concepts of shooting. Correct technique and power when shooting is very important and can be the difference for the player and a team’s success. This fall we will be offering a detailed explosive shooting camp that will cover many areas that will help a player to be more consistent, confident and successful in front of the goal. Players will develop a better feel and understanding of placement, angles and shot selection depending on what shooting opportunity arises. We will also cover skill in front of the goal to beat defenders and 1v1 with the keepers and accuracy with free kicks. - Who: Boys and Girls, U11-U15+ - When: July 18th – 21st, 2011 - U11-U12, 9:00 am – 10:30 am - U13-U14, 10:30 am– 12:00 pm - U15+, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm - Where: Amend Park - Cost: $50.00 Note: Must be playing Magic competitive or Micro soccer in spring 2013.
