2012 Spring Competitive Travel League Soccer Online and paper registration is accessed by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page for players aged 11-18 years old who want to play competitive traveling league soccer in spring 2012 and already have a Gotsport.com player profile.
*****Please carefully folllow the 7 steps outlined below as there is paperwork that must be turned into the office. At this time, we are required by USYSA/MYSA to have a current hard copy, signed and notarized, of the registration form, which contains a medical release. This must be current for the 2011-2012 season.*****
Requirements for Team Placement:
Please allow enough time to complete the online registration, to notarize the registration/medical release form, and to turn in all materials to the Magic office. There is NO online registration at try-outs. The following MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE AUGUST 19th (U11-U14) and NOVEMBER 4TH (U15-U18) to avoid an ADDITIONAL $25 LATE FEE which must be paid by check:
1. Gotsport profile with most CURRENT INFO (phone numbers and e-mails) and PLAYER PIC.
(Players new to Magic must begin the process by creating a GotSport profile. The link is located at the bottom right hand corner of the NEWS page under Register Online.)
2. Online registration and partial payment by credit card or check at link below. You cannot access the registration by going idirectly into your player's GotSport account. You need to follow the link below.
3. Hard copy of registration form with medical release portion NOTARIZED (form is generated after online registration is completed) -- PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IF YOU PRINT A REGISTRATION FROM YOUR PLAYER'S PROFILE THAT YOU CLICK ON THE 2011-2012 REGISTRATION FORM (not last year's form).
4. Signed page 4 of contract – download a Competitive Traveling Player Contract here.
5. A copy of a CERTIFIED birth certificate if NEW to club.
6. 2011-2012 registration form, contract, birth certificate turned into Magic office no later than August 19th.
7. Attendance at ALL days of your age group’s try-out.
By submitting a hard copy of your ONLINE registration form and having your player attend the evaluation, you are asking Magic to put your player on a competitive (Premier, Select, or Classic) or a Micro team. Depending on try-out turnout numbers, player/team playing ability, and coach availability, or state team formation rules, some age groups may be combined. A lot of time and work is put into team formation! NO REFUNDS will be made to players that drop after evaluations and try-outs or after team placement. If Magic cannot place your player on a team, most, if not all, monies will be refunded.

Cost
Fees for 2012 Spring Season are: Classic/Select: $460; Premier: $490.
Financial Aid Recipients:
You will be required to pay half of your fees now by check. Please attach a note to your registration that you will be requesting financial aid. Go to the Financial Aid tab here.
New Players to the Club:
Make a Gotsport.com profile by providing us with your player, parent, and emergency info. Click here to make a new Gotsport profile. When you have completed this step, come back to this page and click the link below to register.
Updates to Gotsport.com:
If any of your contact info—address, phone, e-mail--has changed, please update your profile. Everyone will need to upload a new current player headshot. Click here to update your Gotsport profile. You will need your Username and Password to access your profile. If you played in Magic last year, your Username and Password have been sent to your e-mail. Call the office at 294-9480 if you have deleted this e-mail or forgotten your Username and Password. DO NOT CREATE A DUPLICATE GOTSPORT ACCOUNT--YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS!
Rostering and Final Payment/Team Acceptance:
We will attempt to post the competitive rosters as soon as possible to the Team pages of magiccitysoccer.net. The due date for final payment/registration and a link to complete registration will be posted on the team page. An outline of upcoming events will also be on the team page. Micros will receive their rosters at the Micro parent meeting to be scheduled in February.

Team Formation: The first 16-18 strongest players from each age and gender group at try-outs are placed on their age’s and gender’s Premier team. The remaining players are placed on their U13 or U 14 and gender’s Select team if there are enough players.

U15 and U16 players try out together for the U16 Premier team and U17 and U18 players try out together for the U18 Premier team.

Try-Out Dates: Sunday, November 6th and a weekday following if coaches decide another day is needed.
Gotsport Registration:
- You will need your Username and Password and a credit/debit card.
- You must answer all asterisked fields, namely your player's current school and age and their soccer experience. Tell us how you want to volunteer and your occupation/employer.
- Please be sure to scroll down each page so that you do not miss boxes that need checks or dots. Update any field for player, parent, or emergency info as you move from page to page.
The program will not advance or allow you to print the registration form if a required field or box is left blank!
- Print your registration form on the last Web page after you have made payment.
